Phyllis Lambert to receive 2016 Arnold W. Brunner Memorial Prize

Dubbed as the “Joan of Architecture”, Canadian architect Phyllis Lambert will receive the Brunner Memorial Prize from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. The prize awards an architect of any nationality who has made a significant contribution to architecture as an art.

Three winners selected for Aarhus' NEW AARCH school, will compete against SANAA, BIG, and Lacaton & Vassal

All six vacancies have been filled in the NEW AARCH project competition for designing the new Aarhus School of Architecture. Now that the open competition is done, the three selected architecture teams will move on to the restricted design competition, along with the teams led by SANAA, BIG, and Lacaton & Vassal.

Designing the new Museum of London: international competition gains momentum with shortlist of six architectural teams

Six teams are still in the running for a chance to design the Museum of London's new museum in West Smithfield. All six teams — which include BIG with HawkinsBrown; Lacaton & Vassal with Pernilla Ohrstedt Studio; and Stanton Williams with Asif Khan, to name a few — will produce design concepts to be displayed throughout an exhibition hosted by the Museum this summer.
