Zaha Hadid has died: A recollection of some of her recent prestigious accolades
Last Thursday was a day of mourning in architecture, with the sudden passing of Zaha Hadid. Social media was swamped with tributes for the architect, who was a daring creative force through and through and whose body of work will remain invaluable for generations to come.

Four 2016 Wheelwright Prize finalists from Chile, Italy, and Spain to compete for $100K grant
It's already that time of year when Harvard GSD will soon award their next Wheelwright Prize recipient. Chosen out of nearly 200 applicants from 45 countries, 2016 finalists Samuel Bravo, Matilde Cassani, Anna Puigjaner, and Pier Paolo Tamburelli will prepare their big presentations for a shot at the prestigious travel grant.
Ney & Partners + William Matthews Associates to redesign Tintagel Bridge
The team led by civil engineers Ney & Partners and architecture firm William Matthes Associates had the winning proposal for the historic Tintagel Bridge in Cornwall. The winning design was selected for its structurally elegant and poetic approach, as the jury described.
First glimpse of UNStudio's winning concept for proposed mixed-use in Frankfurt
UNStudio revealed the initial proposal for a new mixed-use masterplan for the former Deutsche Bank site in Frankfurt. In the initial concept, the development includes four high-rise towers and a multitude of pedestrian-friendly public spaces.
