Mayer/Reed + Snøhetta + DIALOG will be designing the new riverwalk at Willamette Falls in Oregon. The project is part of a major redevelopment that aims to create public access to the landmark Falls and its adjacent industrial site for the first time in over a century.
Five shortlisted teams advance to Stage 2 of Singapore Rail Corridor project
Five architecture + landscape architecture teams advanced to Stage 2 of the Singapore Rail Corridor competition. In this stage, the teams will spend 13 weeks developing the overall Concept Master Plan and the Concept Proposals until late August.

Participants worldwide shared a splendid mix of approaches in designing a "time capsule museum" in ideasforward's 24H competition 6th edition, "Memories". With only 24 hours to complete their entries, participants designed a time capsule museum to be opened by Earth's future inhabitants in the year 3000. Qatar launches three-stage international Art Mill competition for a new museum
Qatar Museums and Malcolm Reading Consultants launched an international design competition to find an architect to convert an enormous flour mill into the Qatar Art Mill, a proposed art museum at Doha Bay. The open call for interest ends on June 26, 2015.

Every year, the Urban Lands Institute commends exemplary large- and small-scale urban public spaces that socially enriched and also revitalized the economy of their local communities. One project will win the $10,000 prize this October in San Francisco.
First phase of UNStudio-designed SUTD campus in Singapore is completed
UNStudio announced the completion of phase one for the Singapore University of Technology & Design campus. The Dutch firm won the commission for the project in a 2010 competition with Singapore-based DP Architects.
