Colombia, Sri Lanka, and U.S. projects win big in 2015 Holcim Awards
Projects in Colombia, Sri Lanka, and New York won the Gold, Silver, and Bronze prizes and shared $350,000 in the global 2015 Holcim Awards. The competitive triennial awards seek architectural interventions that best address sustainable building and construction issues around the world.

The eight Next Helsinki shortlisted entries
Is a new Guggenheim Museum really what Helsinki needs? In response to the controversy behind the project, Checkpoint Helsinki, Terreform and G.U.L.F. (Global Ultra Luxury Faction) co-organized The Next Helsinki ideas counter-competition. Entrants worldwide submitted their alternative proposals for the competition site.

The American Academy in Rome’s 2015-2016 Rome Prize winners
Now in its 119th year, the prestigious Rome Prize fellowship is granted to around 30 arts and humanities candidates. Recipients are then invited to Rome where they can pursue their work for a period spanning from six months up to two years.
