LIC Fear III: Visiting Death

A fine art exhibition curated by Tessa Kennedy & Jason Artiga
The approaching twilight of our year has brought us to resurrect LIC-A’s third annual LIC Fear: a fine art exhibition at The Plaxall Gallery curated by Tessa Kennedy and Jason Artiga. This year we are focusing on the subject of death to celebrate the changing of the seasons and the stages of life & death.

Exhibition On View: October 17 - November 3
at The Plaxall Gallery (Map)

Opening Reception: Saturday, October 19, 7-11pm
Free Music concert at 9:30pm, featuring Art Girls. Complimentary drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
In conjunction, LIC-A will also present the third annual LIC Fear Film Festival, also curated by Tessa Kennedy and Jason Artiga, founder of the Long Island City Horror Film Festival formerly at 5Pointz.
The festival is a free event for the public with complimentary drinks and hors d’oeuvres. Costumes are always welcomed at all events.

Film Festival: Sunday, October 27, 4-9pm
Filmmakers are invited to submit their films for the festival. There is no submission fee.

It Happens To All Fare-Beaters:

Riding the “N” Train in NYC is a Nightmare, fare-beaters get compacted, brutalized, dismembered and transported to the next station.
The victims with severed limbs are taking to the “Hospital of Death” thru the ER.
In the “ER Cold Room No. 300” the survivors get butchered and then conveyored to the Boneyard.
The “Underground Boneyard” is a 100 feet bunker under the Hospital of Death.
All body parts are meticulously guarded by the “Boneyard Keeper”. All parts are sold to keep the system alive.
