Something there is that doesn't love a wall,
That sends the frozen-ground-swell under it,
And spills the upper boulders in the sun,
And makes gaps even two can pass abreast.
The work of hunters is another thing:
I have come after them and made repair
Where they have left not one stone on a stone,
But they would have the rabbit out of hiding,
To please the yelping dogs. The gaps I mean,
No one has seen them made or heard them made,
But at spring mending-time we find them there.
I let my neighbor know beyond the hill;
And on a day we meet to walk the line
And set the wall between us once again.
We keep the wall between us as we go.
To each the boulders that have fallen to each.
And some are loaves and some so nearly balls
We have to use a spell to make them balance:
'Stay where you are until our backs are turned!'
We wear our fingers rough with handling them.
Oh, just another kind of out-door game,
One on a side. It comes to little more:
There where it is we do not need the wall:
He is all pine and I am apple orchard.
My apple trees will never get across
And eat the cones under his pines, I tell him.
He only says, 'Good fences make good neighbors'.
Spring is the mischief in me, and I wonder
If I could put a notion in his head:
'Why do they make good neighbors? Isn't it
Where there are cows?
But here there are no cows.
Before I built a wall I'd ask to know
What I was walling in or walling out,
And to whom I was like to give offence.
Something there is that doesn't love a wall,
That wants it down.' I could say 'Elves' to him,
But it's not elves exactly, and I'd rather
He said it for himself. I see him there
Bringing a stone grasped firmly by the top
In each hand, like an old-stone savage armed.
He moves in darkness as it seems to me~
Not of woods only and the shade of trees.
He will not go behind his father's saying,
And he likes having thought of it so well
He says again, "Good fences make good neighbors."

Be courteous, kind and forgiving,
Be gentle and peaceful each day,
Be warm and human and grateful,
And have a good thing to say.
Be thoughtful and trustful and childlike,
Be witty and happy and wise,
Be honest and love all your neighbors,
Be obsequious, purple, and clairvoyant.
Be sure to stop at stop signs,
And drive 55 miles an hour,
Pick up hitchikers foaming at the mouth,
And when you get home get a master's degree in geology
Be pompous, obese, and eat cactus,
Be dull, and boring, and omnipresent,
Criticize things you don't know about,
Be oblong and have your knees removed.
Be tasteless, rude, and offensive,
Live in a swamp and be three dimensional,
Put a live chicken in your underwear,
Go into a closet and suck eggs.

I am nervous I think she will win 3 states tomorrow by really small margins (leaving the delegate count unchanged) and she will continue to break the democratic party.
As a conservative, I want to thank the socialists in the democrat party for all the great entertainment. For example, Liberal Hillary Clinton complaining about media bias from the Liberals in the media. I thought there was no media bias. With an unpopular war and president and a weak economy, the socialists will find another way to blow another election.
Democrats, this guy is a little looney but he is a right about what we are doing to our party and chances of the presidency. She has no chance of winning straight-out, I hope that the folks in OH and TX end this.
it's gonna be over with Hussein the victor after tuesday
YES HE CAN!
Hilly will need 75% of the vote after tuesday and Hussein is too strong not get those numbers - the majority loves Hussein and for Hussein to only get 25% from here on out would be next to impossible
who's sayin' Hussein can't win?
an ode to Husssein
people vote Hussein
see him lose? that's insane
Hill's tricks are in vain
I think I heard Bill Buckley say that we somehow (as christian americans ?) *deserve* the eastern treasure (oil). . .in so many words. and that was some years ago. . .
Seeing that I am extremely surprised he has done as well as he has. I think it is unfair to pick on this one misguided voter, but there are probably millions just like him. It makes me respect Obama more as he is able to pull off huge wins even with all these smears and innuendo, some of it from his direct opponent (the photo).
Together, we did it! MoveOn members beat our original goal of calling 125,000 Texas voters this Sunday—instead making 400,000 calls at nearly 1,800 "Yes We Can" Obama parties across the nation.
Unless something big happens Obama is going to lose tomorrow, and it may be bad. I am even surprised that even the right-wing Canadian prime minister is in on the action. Even Rush is calling for republicans to vote for Hillary to stop Obama.
Hillary and the right wing have turned the tables effectively, that fabled political machinery woke up and they seem to be destroying Obama. Thankfully it came late and with early voting in TX and OH Obama may still have the edge, let's see.
I am pretty sure it will be bad though, I hope people are making calls, etc... Let's try to finish it.
if she wins 3 out of 4 tomorrow she will not leave and she may win OH by double digits. I prefer McCain over Clinton, but I am not sure if I can vote for him yet, I need to see his VP. McCain can claim change AND experience. If not there is always Nader.
"If she cannot be stopped, she can still be slowed. If you're in Ohio, Rhose Island, Vermont and Texas, you know what to do. This is what you call the fierce urgency of now."
I wouldn't give in to despair just yet. Hillary's ground operation in TX and OH has been a dysfunctional nightmare, while Obama's has been like a well-oiled machine. The more people see of Obama, the more they like him; the more they see of Hilary the more they want her to just shut up and go away.
My optimistic prediction: Obama will win Texas by a decent margin, Ohio by a slimmer margin, Vermont by a huge margin, and probably lose Rhode Island by a narrow margin.
My pessimistic prediction: Obama may narrowly lose the Texas vote but come out with more delegates anyway because of the state's weird caucus system. He'll narrowly lose Ohio, win heavily in Vermont, and lose Rhode Island. Hillary will of course spin it as a huge victory for her side, but that won't change the fact that she'd still be 150 delegates behind Obama, and the campaign will drag on for another month like a bad SNL skit. The upcoming states, however, look very promising for Obama.
Who knows.... Maybe Hillary will have a Howard Dean moment on the Daily Show tonight that ends her political career forever.
The weather in Ohio is predicted to be rotten tomorrow, which could keep the geriatric crowd (Hillary's sole remaining demographic) at home. I think Obama's supporters are passionate enough that they'll stand outside in snow, rain, hail, and wind in order to vote for their guy.
Note that Ohio has very similar demographics as Wisconsin, and on the eve of the Wisconsin primary the polls showed Obama with only a 4% lead. He ended up clobbering Hillary with 17% of the vote.
In both Texas and Ohio, the polls seem to be grossly underestimating turnout among African-Americans and young voters, two of Obama's biggest demographics.
I'm cautiously optimistic that Obama can win both Texas and Ohio by at least 10%... Maybe I'll have to eat my words tomorrow, but remember that the polls have been notoriously unreliable this season.
Whatever happens, it will be interesting... And I'll be watching the results with a bunch of Obama people in the Village tomorrow evening while consuming large quantities of alcohol.
Fifty-eight percent (58%) of those surveyed were women, 42% were men.
Ten percent (10%) were under 30, 42% aged 30-49, and 48% were over 50.
Eighty percent (80%) of those surveyed were white while 78% were Democrats.
polls tell you what the pollsters want to tell you....
numbers mean shit.
i tell you this, she keeps on going, i keep inching my vote closer to the McCain pile. fuck her. if she could shoot icbm's out her hooch and rid the world of al qaeda i'd still vote for someone else.
If the "numbers" support Hillary, won't it make Barack look that much better when he wins? Also do these numbers encourage more Obama supporters to vote (to help him win) and less Clinton supporters (because it appears she will win)?

For the first time in years, CNN has given us something useful: The Delegate Counter
Even under Hillary's best-case-scenario, she still comes up over 100 delegates shorter than Obama.
