i know someone who just got a job with HdeM... new regulations (at least in switzerland) state that in order to employ a u.s. citizen the office must have projects going in the u.s.
looks like a lot of the projects i worked on in DE, with the interior atrium garden being used to heat in the winter and the screen to keep sun exposure to a minimum. profilit galore... like it a lot...
agreed, such a simple, effective gesture that also betters the quality of life for everyone who works there, should become a model for office design. I'd love to work here:
it's spanish, designed for a company that manufactures industrial electronic parts. the facade is a sun screen that is laser cut from the recycled scrap metal produced by the company:
The company's hi-tech facilities allowed the laser cutter to be programed to cut randomly, yet with a certain set of guidelines to create a unified and collage like exterior:
it's a tough one, these guys have no web presence whatsoever, can't even find any other projects by them. but they deserve a place in the arch portraits thread:

but use [ ] instead of { }. if your image is really large, you can constrain it by adding a space after the url and typing width=418:
{img}http://www.image.com/image.jpg width=418{/img}
again with [ ] not { }
