I thought it was an adaptation of an old Mill building, converted into a small dwelling and sauna, but it might be a new build - see here: Wingardhs Architektkontor

okay, it is not LA, but from a city often compared to it. if my memory serves me correctly i believe Banham even called it the next LA.

jeff warn is often quoted as doing LA type work, and it is very true that perth and LA have alot in common.
