Born in the UK (1971) and emigrated to Perth Australia in 1986. I studied
architecture at Curtin University in Perth from 1996-2000 during which time I
maintained academic positions and regular practice based work.
After university i worked at Donaldson + Warn Architects in Perth before moving
to work in Germany at Behnisch and Partners, and then Auer + Weber Architekten.
In 2003 i moved to The Netherlands to work with Claus en Kaan Architecten.
Following my previous experience in competition work in Germany my initial role was as
an architect on competition teams. I also produced all visual material whilst working on
the competitions. In 2004 Felix Claus and I decided to focus my role within the office in
producing all visual material for both competitions and projects. This role included utilising
an extensive knowledge base and interest in reference images of both art and architecture.
In 2008 when receiving a commission for a private house I founded gabriëls webb, the
project was completed together with Kirsten Gabriëls whilst both still working at other offices.
In 2010 I decided to focus fulltime on gabriëls webb - a practice that builds on the experience
of my 10 year working history and provides both visuals for architects as well as actual built works.
