The Williams located on 282 South 5th street, the site of a former industrial bakery in prime Williamsburg, Brooklyn is the standard of modern excellence thoughtfully designed by Architect Morris Adjmi. Its two-story plinth evokes the industrial architecture relating to the immediate context and scale of the streets in Williamsburg. The 11-story tower rising up from the center of the 2-story plinth’s landscaped roof is wrapped in a brick grid that defines 3-story bays accentuated by a deep metal frames and subdivided by walls of operable, factory-style windows.
The Williams located on 282 South 5th street is a new 13-story $95M high-end building. The 90,000-SF development features 82 luxury rental units, a 2-level underground garage, gym, retail, dancing studio & community space. It sponsors high ceilings and showcases rustic, industrial & modern design. Each unit features wood floors, quart counter-tops, stainless st. appliances, air conditioning & laundry.
