With sporting facilities in the Virginia Beach area at a high demand, Baskervill was called upon to design a new 150,000 square foot field house with an 18,000 square foot sports mezzanine to help meet the needs of the surrounding community.

Touted as Virginia's premier indoor sports facility, the Virginia Beach Field House is a sports and recreation hub comprised of six turf fields, eight regulation volleyball courts, four basketball courts, arcade, party rooms, food court, locker rooms and showers, over forty televisions, and an indoor Fun Zone. The facility also provides indoor and outdoor sports leagues and entertainment for Virginia Beach area residents. An integral part of the Virginia Beach community, this facility will serve as an emergency shelter for area residents in the event of a hurricane or other natural disaster.
