Two-Time Award-Winning Project
The design and construction of this 700,000-SF advanced manufacturing project was finished in 11 months – ready for machinery installation. Modeled after a sister facility in Japan, this operation greatly expanded Canon’s toner capability in the United States. Operations within the building include robotic and clean room technology. The project was announced in 2008 by Governor Tim Kaine as being “the largest expansion by a manufacturer in the history of Virginia.”
