This sound barrier is to protect the village of Bromma from the noise of the airport.
Bromma Airport is the national swedish hub of Stockholm.
Swedavia launched this competition on february 2014.
This barrier, that we have named "The snake", combines more features in itself.
It is an architectural sign in the landscape, a walkway to be used during the day and the night, also it works in summer and winter thanks to the floor heating systems (internal and external)
Energy help comes from the photovoltaic panels roofing.
