Giorgio S. Bagnasco  - Architecture Studio

Born in 1956, he lives in Genoa and he works with its team to a wide range of projects. 
Graduated in Genoa in 1982 with its thesis on "Bamboo in construction as a sustainable material" he early entered this crucial and timely topic.
As an assistant of Giancarlo De Carlo from 1984 to 1990 he worked at the Faculty of Architecture in Genoa. 
As a lecturer and a "Junior Teacher" incharged from the genuvese faculty together with Donald Hart and Giorgio Bianchi, he participated  at the courses of 'ILAUD in 1997 where he worked in close collaboration with Wladimir Bedenko and Per Olaf Fjeld. 
The work for ILAUD has been released on "Interpretations-ILAUD year book"  -Publisher Sagep  - Genoa 1988. 
He has published articles on Space and Society ed. Sansoni Florence in 1986 and 1987. 
He edited with Emma Serra  “Progetti per il porto vecchio” Casa Editrice Marietti – Genova, 1992.
At the beginning of the ninties he worked as a coordinator at the European Bamboo Society, then he participated tho the foundation of IBS the Italian Bamboo Society.
As a designer the studio worked in the ninties to the develop of the super fast train ETR 500 directely incharged from Breda C.F. SPA.
As a firm he have developed many project on "listed buildings", some gardens and parks, many interiors design project.
He also works often in private dwellings in London and he develops projects in Italy for British clients.
Actually his studio works for some main clients as: Banca Intesa Sanpaolo spa, UBI Bank Group, Federal Republic of Germany, Ranieri Tonissi spa (Man marine engines Italy branch).
