When this well-known global financial firm decided to relocate their NYC headquarters from Midtown to Flatiron, they chose a space that would emulate the authentic NYC experience. It was important to them to make sure that when their employees travel from city to city, they can truly experience the locations they are visiting. 

Keeping this in mind, MKDA project team members designed the interior to capture the feel of the vibrant NYC neighborhood that this financial firm is headquartered in. This specific location stood out to our financial client for its city architecture and features, consisting of exposed beams, concrete floors, expansive NYC views, and — the anchor of the space — the large sky light. With area rugs throughout, numerous accent tables, Knoll lounge chairs and sofas, Design Tex glass walls and Herman Miller conference and meeting rooms chairs, they were able to transform this two floor office space into a chic NYC loft.
