Luxurious and Flexible Design for Boutique Hedge Fund
MKDA designed a highly personalized, high-end space in a class A building for this boutique hedge fund to reflect their highly successful management style and brand. Using walnut panelling, ceiling treatments, stone flooring and state-of-the-art lighting, the team created a warm, luxurious space for them to support their significant work.
Flexibility was a key requirement for this project, as many of the employees had their own unique work styles and aesthetic preferences. As such, the team customized every private office to cater to each individual occupant’s personal needs. We also included highly efficient work areas with height-adjustable desks to provide both ergonomic and technical support. In addition, various conference rooms in the space allow for different experiences. One, for example, has glass walls and is reserved for large meetings while another is tucked away in the corner of the space for smaller, more private gatherings.
A welcoming cafe area gives employees the opportunity to socialize and unwind. It is encased with movable glass walls, which gives it the ability to open up to public areas for either client or internal corporate events. The team also constructed multiple collaboration spaces throughout the workspace to foster camaraderie and a comfortable environment. Other amenities include an employee gym and a private bathroom with a shower.
