Day #4 (Barbados) - or how I fell in love

On study tours you have to be guided by what is available on the ground and on the advice of your hosts. Today myself and the other lecturer went in search of areas for the students to undertake a number of site analysis. However soon after we arrived to Bridgetown we were aided by a suspicious, but very friendly Rastafarian street vender who gave an interesting perspective of development or lack there of. How's that for advice?

This was also the first evening we've been back to the hotel before dark and I was able to take a walk across the street to the beach. A few moments in I noticed the entry to the Richard Haynes Boardwalk and immediately fell in love. I strolled along until the sun began to dip from the sky, surrounded by runners, families playing and a yoga class or two.
