The challenge was to adapt two buidlings - an 80s office building wrapped in a mansard fascia and pre-engineered metal building - for use as a preschool. The project links the two buildings with new construction, providing a new entrance which re-orients both buildings to the space between them. The new entrance was designed to have a immediately recognizable 'house' shape as a way to draw attention to this entrance and to tie the facility together behind a common imagery.
