The renovation of this non-profit theatre, located in a historic Chelsea mid-rise building, provides new balcony seating with improved sight lines, sustainable finishes, and enhanced accessibility and acoustics throughout. Designed under the NYC Department of Design and Construction’s Design Excellence Program, the double height space and balcony is extracted from the underutilized second floor offices, eliminating the existing problematic stage-side seating. The project includes HVAC system upgrades, code compliance and LEED Silver certification.
