Designing small spaces means to restrain the basic functions and to increase the living volume perception. To achieve the goal it’s necessary to emphasize the project’s elements.
My architectural interpretation makes behave the suspended platform as a furnishing element, arranging the space in order to “square” the volume housing the main living functions.
Living, dining and kitchen are arranged according to a linear string in a small regular environment, along the white shared container whose length enlarges the size of the room.
The terrace has been completely covered with iroko boards, to turn into a real visual and functional extension of the indoor, thanks to the wide windows.
