While we wait for the winner of the competition to be announced this Thursday, we are happy to give a more thorough look into the proposal from the Of Possible Architectures team, one of the three Ground/Work finalists. More specifically, we're going to take a look at the Van Alen Table.

Our next Just Launched competition is Autodesk's "Transformation 2030: A Student Design Challenge", in collaboration with Architecture 2030 and the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS). Last week, the Royal Institute of British Architects announced the six projects shortlisted for the RIBA Stephen Lawrence Prize 2013, which recognizes the best projects that exemplify fresh talent with a construction budget under £1 million (US$1.59M). The annual KRob Architectural Delineation Competition is coming back for its 39th year. The competition was established in 1974 by the AIA Dallas Chapter and named after architect Ken Roberts who was recognized for his talent in ink perspective drawing. The harbor-front project "Kalvebod Waves" officially opened on Aug. 30 at the Kalvebod Pier [...] in Copenhagen.
