Should've held off on that building.
Article should have been titled "Thom Mayne Bankrupts Cooper Union"
If the financial troubles started before the new building, why the hell they moved ahead with the white elephant? Seems like a really nasty plan. Empty the coffers first and then create yet another elite institution closed to low income students.

I like that building though...
I am totally fascinated by the idea that this building may have killed off (or seriously damaged) one of the world's greatest schools of architecture.
