The series of videos below offers a fascinating insight into how this generation of "starchitects" behaves under pressure, as they each pitch to win one of the most high-profile competitions in recent years: a new tower for L&L Holding Company on Park Avenue in New York. The site has such daunting neighbours as Mies van der Rohe's Seagram building, and it will be the first full-block office tower to be built on the street in almost half a century. — guardian.co.uk

rem and foster's presentations were the best.
zaha's was pitiable. completely outrageous schemes focusing entirely too much on massing and spatial experience. zaha herself began the presentation by musing that she's "always wanting to do a building in new york," as if they had already chosen her firm's scheme, and was quickly cut off by schumacher who proceeded to speak the rest of the presentation.
I liked Koolhaas the best
Foster's presentation was the most professional, almost to a fault.
Agree, rem and foster were the best. I kinda like the foster building better. The rem building is more elegant, but fosters kind of reminds me of a neo- james stirling.
The videos are available again.

thank you
