As schools of architecture come back into session, Archinect's Get Lectured series continues with a look at the public programs taking place this Fall semester at Woodbury University's School of Architecture.
Events begin on Friday, September 15, in the school’s Wedge Gallery with a lecture from ceramicists Claudia V. Solórzano and Courtney Cho. On September 19, UCLA doctoral candidate Alexa Vaughn will deliver the lecture ‘DeafScape / Design with Disabled People Now’ at 6pm in the Ahmanson Main Space. She will be followed by Kevin Sherrod’s ‘Color Commentary’ lecture at 7 p.m on October 20. Sherrod will be joined by DeMar Matthews and Sean Joyner on the same day for a discussion that takes place in Ahmanson an hour before.
GINAA founding principal Regina Teng and filmmaker/architect Sara Suarez of Day/Dream will present their lecture ‘Atmospheric Optics’ on Friday, November 17, preceded by a discussion with Woodbury faculty member Erin Wright. Joshua Stein will end the semester with a conversation with Lauren Bon of Metabolic Studio on November 28 at 6pm.
