Since February 18th Harvard GSD has curated an exciting list of speakers to present during their Spring 2021 Lecture series. With lectures, symposiums, and public events continuing through April 20th the school has invited presenters from a variety of backgrounds who will discuss topics focusing on academia, social justice and design, professional practice, and much more.

Earlier in the month, the GSD welcomed professor and author Kate Thomas who presented her talk “Lesbian Arcadia: Desire and Design in the Fin-de-Siècle Garden.” On February 23 the GSD welcomes Senior Loeb Scholar Walter Hood for his lecture "When Memory Is Not Enough" followed by a conversation between Hood and Garnette Cadogan on February 25th. February 24th the GSD hosts Design Impact Volume 3: South Asia - Design Agency and Climate Change Symposium. On February 28th the school will host its ninth annual HarvardxDesign conference RealityxDesign.
March welcomes speakers such as Ilze and Heinrich Wolff of Wolff Architects on March 1st, architect, editor, and curator Giovanna Borasi on March 2nd and Julie Bargmann building regenerative landscape designer and founder of D.I.R.T studio on March 4th. Ana María León, Torsten Lange with Katarina Burin, and Clarissa Tossin will present their conversation "Bodies of Work: Activism, Gender, Architecture" on March 25th.
With the month of April concluding their Spring lecture series the GSD welcomes another round of notable speakers such as Bryan C. Lee Jr during his conversation with The Black School on April 6th, Dr. Rebecca Choi on April 7th during her presentation "White Man's Got a God Complex," H Arquitectes, Achille Mbembe in conversation with Joshua Camaroff and John May on April 19th and Cecilia Puga closing the month with her lecture on April 20th.
