The University of New Mexico's Spring 2021 Conversation series continues as they introduce their Spring theme "contesting." The school shares "in response to the global pandemic and the renewed fights to end racism and structural inequality, the 2020-21 lecture series committee and UNM's SA+P has opted for a 'conversation' series rather than a 'lecture' series

Starting in the month of February the school's first Faculty and Student Lunchtime Chat will be with Jeffrey Nesbit on February 3rd. Lesley Lokko and K. Wayne Yang will be panelists for the UNM SA+P Spring 2021 Conversation Series: [Contesting] the University on February 8th. Alex Webb, Assistant Professor of Emergent Technology at UNM SA+P, will speak on February 17th during the Robert. J. Stamm Professorship Lecture.
March 3th will welcome Janet Abrams for the second Faculty and Student Lunchtime Chat. Peter Nabokov and Bob Easton will participate as panelists in the second UNM SA+P Spring 2021 Conversation Series: [Contesting] Models. April 12th welcomes Jose Castillo and Saidee Springall of a|911 to present during the Marjorie Mead Memorial Lecture followed by a presentation from Snøhetta's Craig Dykers and Elaine Molinar. Concluding the lecture series is the third UNM SA+P Spring 2021 Conversation Series: [Contesting] Practice with talks from Bryony Roberts and Danna Walker.
