The greenest architecture is humanely scaled pedestrian urbanism, not some green slathered high tech concoction. If we are going to save ourselves from environmental catastrophe, we need to leave nature to do what it does best and pull back from sprawl as soon as possible.
Good thing we have centuries of accumulated wisdom to learn from. Bad thing we have an architectural culture that chooses to ignore it.
