Beautiful views of Biscayne Bay and an edgy collection of photography were the foci of the renovation of this residence. The challenge was to frame the art without evoking the sense of being in a gallery. The owners’ classic Modernist Vladimir Kagan sofa was used to create a personal space within a space in the large central salon. Red and orange in carpets and accents and wood furniture add character and warmth throughout the residence. To emphasize depth, walls are painted in an increasingly darker palette of grey tones the farther they are from the glass doors of the terrace.
