Radhi Majmudar of Innovative Structural and Specialty Engineering , serving as the structural engineering inspection consultant, performed detailed structural inspections of residential structures on Brooklyn and Staten Island that suffered damage from hydrostatic, hydrodynamic, buoyancy, and wave loads of flood waters as a result of Hurricane Sandy. Structural assessments also included damage caused by scour, erosion, and consolidation due to inundation. We prepared reports documenting all visual observations and determined if exterior and interior structural members were in need of repair, maintenance, or remedial work as a result of Hurricane Sandy.
