Bridge Information Systems - Research + Development Building
DESIGN
- Part of the Master Plan to convert the company's existing location in a typical suburban office park into a cohesive corporate campus, the global headquarters for a growing IT and data services powerhouse.
- The first phase is the renovation and conversion of an existing office building into the home of the Research and Development division.
- To encourage the free flow of ideas, an open plan of work spaces is intermixed with informal meeting and break-out areas, as well as glass-enclosed computer labs.
- In order to maximize ceiling heights while reducing the amount of solid walls, an innovative system of floor-supplied HVAC system was developed.
- An on-campus data center will be constructed on the adjacent lot and linked to the R & D building with a shared lobby. This space is also designed to connect with the future walkway network linking these building to the rest of the campus.
