VOTE OBAMA

2058
Living in Gin

Maybe the Clintons learned campaign strategy from Old Man Bush, whose State Department breached the passport files of then-Gov. Bill Clinton and Ross Perot during the 1992 campaign.

From today's Daily Kos:

Hillary Clinton Questioned Obama Travel on March 12 2008

Hillary's involvement in "The Family", a right-wing fundamentalist power cult...

... And the Clintons are no strangers to Rev. Wright, either

And of course, we all know about McCain's nasty habit of embracing clergy who think the Roman Catholic Church is a "whore", or who think Islam needs to be wiped off the face of the earth.

Rev. Wright's brand of fire-and-brimstone preaching isn't my cup of tea, but given a choice between him and Hillary's shadowy cult and McCain's christo-fascist bigots, I know whose church I'd prefer to be in on a Sunday morning.

"Now the question is, how did Hillary Clinton campaign know about the countries that Obama visited?"

He's kidding right? Like where a congressman travels to is not part of the official record?

Hey, Mr. Kos, I think you can dig up some pictures of Clinton meeting with Adolf if you dig hard enough.

Yea, that DailyKos is sure some fine journalism...

Typical Bush/Hillary shill... When you can't argue with the substance of an argument, attack the source.

By the way, Obama himself has written for the Daily Kos on at least a couple of occasions.

How about transparency with financing on the Clinton campaign. Why is she so reluctant to show these details? Also, why were so many names redacted from meetings that she had while in the White House?

Yea, well, there's lots of good conversation and information to be gotten about BOTH Obama and Clinton out there, but I'm pretty sure it ain't coming from the Stepford wives Obamites here at Archinect.

And I'm voting for Obama, so eat me.

And Bush sucks the royal big one...worst president ever by far.

Yea, ja, they are so f'ing insecure that they think "conversation" about this election means attacking Clinton non-stop, which is exactly what Obama DOES NOT want in the people that support him...but they'll never get it.

emilio, i think the fervor his supporters have was a huge help in him building his campaign, but i think it's hit a tipping point where the fervor may now start to hurt him as we move towards a general election.

Fervor is one thing, but spewing out any crap you find of the internet without even critically thinking about whether it's true or not, but just because it trashes Clinton, is another...that's just fucking propaganda, and it's not what Obama stands for.

obama doesn't use propaganda?

Obama said "we have seen hate crimes skyrocket" because of the immigration debate. Actually, FBI figures show a 10.3 percent increase in anti-Hispanic incidents, and the most recent number is lower than it was in 2001.

i am sorry but taking any advice from some CLInton dope is more than stupid it offends the very bones in my body. you have nothing to run on, nothing to say, no substance, no moral authority, no scrupples, no ideas....nothing, nada, zilch, Zer0. you and your ilk are cancerous. in fact some part of me hopes she does get elected just so she can have her ass handed to her and loose in 2012.

35 years of experience? that's like saying i have 40 years experience of being a white male, big fucking deal.

Wait, beta, I'm not sure I get it after yours and other hundreds of posts here: but I think I'm starting to understand; your argument for Obama is so deep and nuanced; here it is in a nutshell: "Clinton sucks"...gee, you're so eloquent, how could I not have gotten it before?

But wait, I'm still not sure, could you and the rest of the posters in this thread give a few more examples of how Clinton sucks, I'm not sure it's totally clear yet...then I will be satisfied that Obama is a great man...cause, you know, Clinton sucks.

hey, you don't want to debate issues, you love respoding and baiting. i am tired of trying to explain to knuckleheads like you why it's important for this country and the world at large that Obama gets elected. i have written in the past that i am not like Obama and never can be, i deal from a more emotional and fiery deck of cards, he's ultimately better at turning the other cheek, and that's why i'll never run for president; because at the end of the day, i would have nuked half the planet for the injustices in the world.

I've already said somewhere else that "debating", if that's what you want to call it, is a waste of fucking time in this thread, so I'm just commenting on this "discussion" and just calling it like I see it. Besides, you would only except my "debate" if it was a continuous rant on Clinton...not interested.

But, wait, I get in now...

I've got a reason that Obama is the best candidate:

"Clinton eats the big one."

Man, that's easy.

"because at the end of the day, i would have nuked half the planet for the injustices in the world."

we're all impressed.

Yea, I'm sure glad you became an architect...

Actually Clinton Sucks is a major part of my voting for Obama along with his orator skills - which is something we need to put a good face on the country and improve the image abroad. Thats really it - that simple. The Clintons signed us into many treaties that diminished otive power over trade, over the use of our own natural resources and even access to our own natural resources - they even allowed a china freighter to pump water out of the gret lakes and Canada stopped them. The Clintons are scary utopian / leagal visionary team that is so ideological its blind to the damages ( 911, Tech Bubble, Greenspan) they initiate. They are fools to be taken advantage of by European Central Bankers as well as Asian industrialists. They need to be ended once and for all.

from beta's ramos/compean link above:

Myth: ALDRETE HAS BEEN ARRESTED FOR SMUGGLING MORE DRUGS INTO THE UNITED STATES
Reality: Aldrete has not been subsequently arrested for drug smuggling. Our office is in the business of prosecuting drug traffickers and alien smugglers. We are on the front lines of this battle and we aggressively prosecute these criminals every day in court. In fact, the Western
District of Texas leads the nation in the number of individuals we prosecute for illegally smuggling drugs into this country. If we had a provable case against Aldrete, we would prosecute him.

Mexican Drug Smuggler Shot by Border Agents Indicted on Drug Smuggling Charges

EL PASO, Texas — The arrest of an admitted Mexican drug smuggler shot by a pair of U.S. Border Patrol agents is prompting renewed calls for the former law-enforcement officials' release from prison.

Osvaldo Aldrete Davila was arrested Thursday at an international port of entry in El Paso; a sealed indictment issued in October charged him with drug smuggling offenses.

A sealed indictment was issued in October charging Davila with possession with the intent to distribute a controlled substance, conspiracy to import a controlled substance, and conspiracy with intent to distribute a controlled substance. According to the indictment, Aldrete committed the crimes in September and October 2005, several months after he was shot in the buttocks while fleeing from a pair of Border Patrol agents.

whatever emilio, why not go back posting under your "real" identity.

i am prepared to debate this with anyone, anyone. i was prepared to vote for HRC if Obama did not get the nod, but at the end of the day i am an independent thinker, and she has proven that "by any means necessary.." is not just a Malcom X quote, it's a philosophy to live by. only one problem with that, there is no right wing conspiracy to blame, oh wait, maybe it's black male conspiracy?

well guess what, I too am a black american, and my middle name is Hussein.

so, maybe she can throw more suggestions that he's a muslim, not black or white enough, too male for you, not gay enough me, to into the chicago bulls/bears/cubs/sox/blackhawks and hates the yankees and giants....oh wait a black man likes hockey? that don't play well in cleveland...

evilp, how do you blame bill clinton for the tech bubble? that's free market capitalism at its best. second, attacking alan greenspan? most people think greenspan was a great chairman of the federal reserve, particularly in contrast to the current dufus. most non-americans loved clinton. he was an excellent international diplomat for this country. if not for obama's attacks, hillary would have been viewed similarly.

in my opinion, obama really f-ed over the democrats. the dems should have rallied around hillary; obama is too inexperienced to lead this country. after a hillary administration, obama would have been groomed for the presidency. i'm looking at at least 12 years of the democrats' control of the white house if hillary were the nominee. now what do we have to look forward to? 4 more years of conservativism under mccain. thanks, obamatrons.

Does anyone seriously believe that Hillary will be able to make a positive change in gov't?!? The Republicans have such a hatred for her that I wouldn't put it past them to sit on their hands in Congress and not lift a finger to help pass any of her initiatives. If she's elected, we're looking at 4-8 years of gridlock - just out of spite.

At least Obama (and McCain to a degree) have the ability to see multiple sides of the issue and reach across the aisle. That's how you change and move forward solving problems.

as much as obama supporters like to think he's the great uniter, i invite you to spend an afternoon with mr. limbaugh to get an impression of what conservatives really think about him. they think he's a communist. not everyone is as idealistic as the obamatrons. he will have just as much resistance as hillary would have, and even less chance of passing legislation, because he lacks the political savvy to deliver.

Mar 21, 08 3:14 pm  ·

And why should I give a flying fuck what Limbaugh thinks? He thinks anybody to the political left of Attila the Hun is a communist. If Jesus Christ himself came back and ran as a Democrat, Limbaugh would be the first person in line to crucify him.

Unlike Hillary, Obama doesn't feel the need to pander to mouth-breathing bigots like Limbaugh and his listeners, and his name on the ticket in November will help far more down-ticket Democrats than Hillary ever could.

If Hillary has such political savvy, why has most of her "experience" (that which hasn't been wildly exaggerated or flat-out fabricated, that is) has been one dismal failure after another. On the issue of healthcare alone, her high-handed arrogance set back the cause of universal coverage by 20 years. How many people died during that period because they couldn't afford treatment? If she's so fucking politically savvy, why has her 2008 campaign been one huge mess of dishonesty, incompetence, and infighting? She was so convinced she'd cinch the nomination on Super Tuesday that she didn't even bother opening campaign offices in the states that followed, and didn't even bother submitting a full slate of delegates in Pennsylvania before the deadline. (Her buddy Ed Rendell saved her ass by extending the deadline.) Some savvy.... I shudder to imagine a Hillary White House with that same "savvy".
