jason - i absolutely hate that about orbitz.com. its so ridiculous. when i flew to the east coast i seriously got 6 phone calls from them in about 40 minutes to tell me that my gate had changed. funny thing is my gate hadn't changed and it was telling me to go to the wrong gate. stupid orbitz.

Just got back from vacation. Got my UVa rejection letter in the mail today (sent on 3/13). Not sure if I received any phone calls. I forgot to pay my electric bill, which was already late, before I left for vacation. Got back and the power was off. It's back on now, but my landline phones don't work without power. If Toshiko called (yeah, right) she wouldn't have been able to leave a message.

So what's the deal with GSD notifications and implicit rejections? Sounds like they're right in the middle of making notifications and there is still time.

I also am non-arch.

I know somewith with Arch bgd who got the call.

Thoughts of Career Discovery program:

If stay at my god awful mind numbing job for a few more months, and get my tax return back, and get my full deposit out of my apartment, and convince my dad to pay my car payments/insurance/student loan payments for a couple months... I could do it! Of course afterwards I'd have to move back into my dad's house and work at the gap because I won't have any skills/job/money. It'll be like high school all over again except that I've had a taste of freedom...
