OK HERE WE GO AGAIN....
NOW ABOUT THE ABSTRACT....
Ok so I think they tricked my here at the archinect blog, I remember some dude commenting that everyone did the same mainstream thing here at Columbia. Then I get here and find 16 studio options plus 8 visual studies (funky computer shit) options and worst of all.....ALL DIFFERENT! how am I supposed to copy work from other people when the sources and intentions are so different? Damn thats why we have to work 16 hours a day on weekdays and 20 on weekends. Anyway, heres some imagnes I hijacked from the w server, there are more people with cool shit but, i dont know them so i dont wanna get in trouble....
so, ANGELA and SAAD's project with Lisa Anne Couture....
And here is John's stuff on Francois Roche's studio....
And here is the stuff I am submitting ( as always ....I'll explain the project later......or if you wanna see the vids....

I have to admit that I tried as much as I could to copy my friend John, I even mimicked his wireframe render style, but in the end am sorry to say that even though they incorporate the premise of robotic influence on an architectural project, they differ a lot on their agendas and results....
So there you go, I think the we are not totally responsible for the similarity of our projects, its all about the high density in which we are packed here. I mean, Peter Cook was my professor, but I had to hear Jurgen Mayer criting, Francoise criting, Hernan criting, Laurie Hawkinson criting, Alisa Andrasek criting, Karl Chu criting, Yehuda criting, Lise Anne Couture criting etc etc etc. So Dont blame us if our projects look totally the same....lol
hey, and dont forget to go to the CENTER FOR ARCHITECTURE for the bitforms exhibition...saturday 16

After 6 years working at a commercial firm in London and setting up my own practice with collegues from the AA to deliver a comission for a tower we won in India, I am embarking on a new adventure as studio leader for a local firm in China, trying to reconnect with the experimental mind set I used to have during my days at GSAPP
