Located on a riverbank, Box Villa takes inspiration from local lantern rituals for its design. This summer house in northern Iran combines year-round comfort with energy efficiency. It features an inner courtyard, stone facade, and permeable views between levels. The facade›s strategic use of black and white stones optimizes sun absorption for climate control, while fully insulated walls minimize energy consumption. Its reflection in the river highlights its connection to nature.
