The primary challenge for AW Villa was constructing a robust
structure on a small plot of land within a tight budget. The goal was
to maximize views while minimizing costs. The A-frame and steel
truss structure not only allowed for the use of less than three tons
of steel but also created a unique aesthetic.
The exposed steel frame and concrete flooring add a youthful vibe
to the project while serving structural purposes. The double-height
living room faces south, offering an expansive vertical view of the
forested mountains, while the first-floor bedrooms showcase the
serene sea horizon.
