East Otay Mesa Fire Station 38

I was the LEED Accredited Professional and California Licensed Architect on this project. The fire station is 14,000 SF facility located near the Otay Mesa border crossing in San Diego county. I worked with our team to document all of the proof required to achieve enough LEED points for LEED Gold. Fire Station 38 incorporated many innovative sustainability features. One of which was the embodied carbon footprint reduction initiative. This ensures the minimal amount of carbon is produced through the entire life-cycle of building materials.
