The building of a new Residence Hall for La Salle University in Philadelphia consists of four pods of housing connected by a central spine corridor. The building is 3 stories and each floor of a pod contains a variety of suites and double rooms monitored by a Resident Advisor. A common lounge along the corridor provides a social gathering space for the community that has connections to the spine corridor for greater visibility and access. Entry is through the central pod with a 24-hour security desk to monitor entry. A small waiting area outside of the secure residence hall allows a waiting area for visitors.
