Formal Processes Part II, Germany and Austria

So in this past winter quarter, I had Dagmar Richter's studio. We were to design a ski resort hotel that was at a site of our choosing. Getting an opportunity to go to Austria and Germany, we took a week-long trip, staying southeast of Munich and jumping into Austria to look at ski-resorts there. I won't detail out the trip, but it was great loads of fun and we got to see a lot of great projects ranging from the little modernist gems like the Oud and Corbus at the Academy of Arts in Stuttgart to Zaha's Funicular Stations in Innsbruck. Good stuff.

    Here's a brief slide show:

    UN Studio Mercedes Benz Museum

    Corbu @ Academy of Arts

    HdM Allianz Arena

    BMW Welt

    Zaha Funicular

    Innsbruck

SO hard. Looking at buildings and traipsing around Europe... tough goings...
