Uli Wagner began consulting with Proenza Schouler in Summer 2013 with the brief to adapt an appreciated David Adjaye concept to the roll out of a larger store network in Asia.

In partnership with Club 21 Proenza Schouler needed a concept evolution that allowed for a lightly controlled overseas built-out, while guaranteeing commercial success.

In addition to defining and altering the material palette, Uli Wagner consulted on a series of floor plans and developed new functional display cases and features. The look and feel of the space is defined by  melding cold rolled steel and concrete with rich veneers of  Karelian burl and Ziricote.
