9th Avenue Penthouse, NYC

A dramatic 30-foot-high atrium space is the focal point of this 3,500 square foot open plan penthouse. The space is organized with large pieces of cabinetry, folding and pivoting doors in order to provide a variety of living, working and entertaining configurations. The palette of materials ranges from blackened steel for handrails and display boxes, gray high gloss painted mill work pieces to brightly colored Venetian plaster.
The project was featured in June 23rd, 2011 photo spread in The Wall Street Journal.

I worked as an architectural designer preparing construction documents.
