658 Driggs is a mixed-use development at the corner of Driggs and Metropolitan avenues of 5 stories and a cellar, with an FAR of 26,714 SF gross. The project has 20 units, ranging from studios to one and two bedroom units. The three inclusionary housing units are all two bedroom units. There is a communal accessible roof terrace on the top floor and retail units on the ground floor.
Thomas Wensing was involved in the SD and DD phases of design, developing the façade concept with Morris Adjmi and the team, and later brought back on to the project as project architect for CA.
The façade design consists of horizontal bands in metal panel accentuating each floor. The piers between the windows are clad in brick, laid up in American bond in reference to the solid masonry industrial buildings in the area
