I am licensed architect in the Netherlands and the UK (Architects Registration Board) with 20 years of relevant experience. I teach Architecture History and Theory at Kean University.
From 2016 to September 2020 I worked as a Senior Designer for Morris Adjmi Architects in NYC on residential and commercial projects.
Before moving to New York I worked for three years as project architect at David Chipperfield Architects in London, UK (DCA).
At DCA I worked on a variety of projects, from a sculpture studio for Antony Gormley to the design and planning applications for large commercial and residential projects in London.
I graduated in 2004 from the Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design (MScAAD) at Columbia University on a Fulbright Scholarship. I received a Master of Architecture Degree from Delft University in 2001.
I regularly write articles for publications such as Archined.nl and Blueprint Magazine.
