Kokaistudios renovated the “shikumen” lane houses into individual guest spaces suitable for modern luxurious living. Capella Jianyeli Shanghai is the only all urban villa resort in this sprawling metropolis. Truly one of a kind, the project has demonstrated the great potential and value in heritage buildings.
