LOCATED IN AN INTENSE AND FAST GROWING AREA OF THE CITY, THIS MALL WAS DESIGNED TO SUPPORT THE REGIONAL DEMAND FOR UPSCALE BRANDS AND SERVICES FOR THIS NEW EMERGING MARKET.
THE PROJECT WAS DEVELOPED ALONG WITH MULTIDISCIPLINARY TEAMS, WITH SEVERAL EXPERTISES FROM DIFFERENT CONSULTANTS, IN ORDER TO COME UP WITH THE PERFECT MIX BETWEEN CIRCULATION, RETAIL AND SERVICE AREAS AND LEISURE SPACES.
THE MALL HAS 5 FLOORS OFFERING STORES, MOVIE THEATERS, AN EXTENSIVE FOOD COURT, CONVENTION CENTER, PLUS 4 UNDERGROUND FLOORS OF PARKING LOTS.
IT WAS DESIGNED WITH THE SPECIAL ATTENTION TO BRING ENOUGH NATURAL LIGHTING AND EXTERNAL VIEWS SO THE MASSIVE 5 STORY BLOCK WOUDLN’T CREATE A BARRIOR IN THE URBAN LANDSCAPE, WHILE PRESERVING THE COMFORTABLE FEELING OF THE COSTUMERS INSIDE. A LARGE ATRIUM WITH A SKYDOME IN THE CENTER WAS CREATED TO ALLOW NATURAL LIGHTING TO BE SPREAD THROUGH ALL FLOORS CIRCULATION, WHILE ALL LEISURE AREAS WERE TURNED TO THE GLASS FACADE THAT ALLOW BEAUTIFUL VIEWS TO THE OUTSIDE.
I USED A CONTEMPORARY ARCHITECTURE LANGUAGE, WELL MARKED STRAIGHT LINES, AND MATERIALS THAT MINIMIZE THE HEAVINESS OF THE BUILDING, LIKE GLASS AND LIGHT COLOR STONES.
