ANDROMEDA CONDOMINIUM

REAL ESTATE INTEREST FOR UNCONVENTIONAL APARTMENTS IN THIS REGION WAS THE MILESTONE SET UP BY THE CLIENT TO BRIEF THIS PROJECT.

I PROPOSED QUALITY ARCHITECTURAL APARTMENTS TO TARGET AN UPPER MIDDLE CLASS CUSTOMERS, DEVELOPING A ONE OF A KIND DESIGN TO THE TOWER, THAT COULD DRIVE THE ATTENTION IN THE AREA.

TO DIFFERENTIATE THE TOWER AMONG OTHERS IN THE REGION I PROPOSED A GLASS FACADE SOFTENED BY CURVED CORNERS. THE DOUBLE HEIGHT CEILINGS IN THE SOCIAL AREA ALSO HELPS TO CREATE A MORE DYNAMIC FACADE.

THE UNITS AT BOTH ENDS OF THE BUILDING ARE MIRRORED ACROSS THE FLOORS, WHICH ALLOWS THE SOCIAL AREA TO HAVE ALWAYS A DOUBLE HEIGHT CEILING, WHILE THE BEDROOMS AND SERVICE AREA ARE REGULAR HEIGHT.

BY USING THESE TOOLS, IT WAS POSSIBLE TO DESIGN THIS BUILDING FULFILLING THE CLIENT PREMISES TO DEVELOP DIFFERENTIATED UNIT TYPES, WHILE MEETING BUILDING CODE CRITERIAS OF MAXIMUM AREA ALLOWED.
