The concept for this design developed from the delicate study of circulation and its relationship to increasing anticipation. Thus, manifolds were the inspiration for the scheme. Constrictions, turns and ramps create fluid circulation space; patrons thus move around necessary program such as concessions, facilities and vertical circulation. As patrons pass through the concourses and their levels of excitement rise, the pourous module walls become more constricting, eliminating freedom of movement and assigning patrons to regularly spaces seating. As these modules constrict, lighting becomes more diffuse and noise bounces off the walls with greater intesity, until finally the patrons are released into the open to watch the field.
