As Project Manager at VBN Architects, Gregory oversaw all aspects of the design and construction phase services for this 7 berth bus transfer station located on a 2.5 acre corner site in Downtown Marina, CA. It was important to the City as well as the Monterey-Salinas Transit Agency to maintain the bulk of the urban site available for future joint development opportunities. Situated on a side street there are 4 berths on a bus road adjacent to the street and 3 berths on the side street.  The project included 2 large passenger waiting canopies, 3 smaller canopies and a transit customer service building including a customer service office, operator layover break room and restrooms both public and private. The remaining site was Xeriscaped with a native garden in the interim until a developer could be brought on board to develop the site as a mixed-use urban housing facility with affordable to moderate income units.
