Landscape design of suburban park.Architectural studio project

The study project of landscape and architectural design of Park in proximity of Parabiago (western suburban part of Milan) town was developed within the course. The main idea of the project was to create a park of the new format, park - Manifesto with idea to organize its special unique functional program.  Whole green territory was divided into three main zones - Architectural, Agricultural and Art. The main axis, Olona river, (running from north to south of Olona and Po Valleys) going along the central part of the whole park’s territory (3km lenght within the park) has a role of mainly green public promenade, connecting whole three zones together. The complex subdivision of each zone classification was provided depending on its sizes, existing context, potential benefits of chosen way of using. The analysis of possible green system applicable to the territory (trees, grass, agricultural spices e t.c.) was provided. Deep analysis of the existing urban morphology, transport infrustructure, exiting functioning context was provided for proper understanding of the main goal and main scenario of future green Necklace park. One of peculiarities of the park was a proposed system of Agricultural Cultivation Rotation Cycle with all year around possibility of using all set of territory elements.
