Project Brief:

This project focuses on connections. Pedestrian and bike lanes are extended along the building's facade, connecting residents to sports and recreation. We also aim to reconnect with local crafts, taking inspiration from the Dajia Rush weaving techniques. The arena's facades are constructed with woven elements, creating a porous, three-dimensional skin that offers shade and natural ventilation. This approach not only adds character and history to the project but also helps to reduce the building's environmental impact. By dividing the building envelope into smaller components, the scale of the structure is reduced to a more human-friendly size.
