Street houses often lack natural light and ventilation due to their narrow and elongated shape. To address this, patios were introduced as a way to bring in fresh air and sunlight. However, many patios have since been covered to create indoor space. This detracts from the multi-functional experience that patios can offer.

This project is designed to inspire people to value patios and consider the impact of the built environment on their lives. It aims to have a positive impact on the community and bring back the culture of "back alley as a communal living room".
